Plain‑language summary

Looktara uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate ultra‑real solo photos of you from the photos you upload. Your model is private to your account, not shared with other users, and we don't sell your personal data. We prohibit public‑figure impersonation, multi‑person composites, and other unsafe uses. You control your data and can request export or deletion as described below.

1) What we use AI for

We use AI within the Services to:

  • Create solo portraits of the account holder based on their uploaded training photos and prompts ("Prompt → Photo").
  • Apply user‑selected style/pose references to generate consistent looks across contexts (e.g., professional, travel, stage).
  • Improve rendering quality, likeness fidelity, safety filtering, and abuse prevention.
  • Provide optional features that aid consistency (e.g., daily prompt ideas, template photo packs).

2) What we do not use AI for

To protect people and brands, the Services do not allow:

  • Public‑figure impersonation, deepfakes of other individuals, or the unauthorized use of another person's likeness.
  • Multi‑person composites or the addition of other real people into your images.
  • Explicit sexual content, hateful or harassing imagery, or illegal content.
  • Facial recognition or identity verification of third parties; our AI is not a biometric identification system.

3) Your data and AI processing

  • Training photos you upload are used to create a private model for your account to generate images of you.
  • Prompts, reference selections, and outputs are processed to provide the Services and may be stored in your account until you delete them.
  • We do not sell personal data. We do not use your training photos or outputs to train other users' models.
  • We may use aggregate, de‑identified statistics to improve reliability and safety (e.g., error rates, render time), without identifying you.

See our Privacy Policy and Data Portability Policy for how to access, export, and delete your data.

4) External infrastructure and subprocessors (vendor‑agnostic)

To deliver the Services, we may use vetted cloud and infrastructure providers for computing, storage, content moderation, security/fraud prevention, logging, analytics (pseudonymous), messaging (e.g., WhatsApp), and payments.

We implement contractual and technical safeguards, including data‑processing agreements, confidentiality, least‑necessary data use, encryption in transit and at rest (where applicable), and access controls.

When we use third‑party services on your behalf (e.g., checkout), their privacy terms will apply for that specific interaction.

5) Human oversight, controls, and reporting

  • You review and decide whether to download, share, or publish any image.
  • We apply automated and manual safeguards to prevent misuse and to enforce our content rules.
  • You can report problematic content or misuse at [email protected]; we acknowledge within 24 hours and act promptly.

6) Accuracy and limitations

AI systems can produce errors or artifacts. Generated images may occasionally include visual inconsistencies or unintended elements. The Services are not a substitute for professional photography where legal or regulatory standards apply (e.g., government IDs, visas). Do not rely on outputs for identity proof or biometric verification.

7) Ownership, rights, and responsibilities

Your inputs: You must have the rights to the photos and references you upload. You grant us a limited license to process those inputs to operate the Services.

Your outputs: Subject to our Terms and any applicable laws, Looktara grants you a license to use your generated images for personal and commercial purposes. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with third‑party rights and platform policies.

Internal artifacts: To protect security and IP, we do not provide access to internal model weights, embeddings, or other derived artifacts.

8) Children and sensitive content

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or a higher age where required). We also do not support medical or other sensitive‑use diagnostics; do not use the Services where prohibited by law or policy.

9) Transparency labels

Where technically feasible, we may attach an "AI‑generated" indicator in metadata or filenames. Some platforms strip metadata; please disclose AI usage where required by platform or law.

10) Your choices

Delete or refresh training data: You can request deletion of your training set and/or a refresh of your model. Deletion permanently removes the ability to generate new images until you retrain.

Export: You can request a structured export of eligible data (see Data Portability Policy).

WhatsApp & notifications: You can opt out of non‑essential messaging at any time.

11) Legal basis and compliance

We process data under lawful bases such as contract (to provide the Services), consent (for non‑essential features like analytics or WhatsApp prompts, where required), and legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention). We aim to comply with applicable privacy, consumer‑protection, and AI regulations in the regions where we operate.

12) Changes to this Disclosure

We may update this Disclosure to reflect product or legal changes. Material updates will be communicated in‑product or by email. The Effective date above shows when this version took effect.
